As the only training centre in the UK affiliated to AMI the Maria Montessori Institute is the only organisation offering AMI qualifications in the UK. Set up by Mario Montessori and having grown out of the courses originally given in the UK by Maria Montessori the Maria Montessori Institute has a long history of offering high quality authentic Montessori training and conferring qualifications that are recognised all over the world. All the courses are delivered under the guidance of AMI teacher trainers.
AMI Diploma Course
Diploma courses are offered for 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 age levels and are offered in several different formats: one or two-year full time courses, two year part-time courses, three summer courses or two year-modular format courses.
AMI Certificate Course
A shorter, part-time course held each year in the spring term for those who would like to know how to assist in a Montessori environment or for parents and those who simply wish to learn more about the Montessori approach.
